Troubleshooting

Fixes for sign-in and invitation problems, AI app connection errors, missing projects, tickets or controls, and notifications.

My AI app cannot connect

Symptom	What to check
App says it needs authentication	The connection was disconnected or expired. Connect again from the app's connector settings.
401 or invalid key	Extra spaces, expiry, revocation, or a recently regenerated key. Update every tool with the current key.
403, "permission" or "member role required"	The app was approved as Read only, or your role is Viewer. Use Edit access in Settings › AI tools.
Ticket or project not found	The app only sees the projects you approved. Add the project with Edit access.
Connection refused or timeout	Check the address `https://praxis.theorem-labs.com/mcp` and the network from the machine running the agent.
Tools missing	Check Streamable HTTP, the Authorization header and your tool's reload steps. Opening `/mcp` in a browser is not a test.

Also check that your membership and organization are active. See Manual setup to test a key from a terminal.

Controls depend on your organization role and selected admin mode.
Viewers do not have AI tools or editing controls.
A Super admin must also be a member of an organization to create a personal key there.

Check Account › Notifications › Notification types.
Check browser, site and system notification permissions, and Focus or Do Not Disturb.
On iPhone or iPad, enable notifications from the Home Screen app, not a browser tab.
Re-enable a device that has not visited device settings for 30 days.
