Notes
Private-by-default organization notes with priorities, pins, colours, checklists, sharing, comments, reminders and agent access.
How notes work
- Notes sit beside Updates and belong to the organization, not to one project.
- New notes are private to their creator. Admins cannot browse other people's private notes.
- Views: All, Mine, Shared, Pinned and Archived. Layouts: Board or List.
- People without a project can open Notes from their workspace.
Organise notes
- Sort plans into Now, Next and Later. Drag a card, or use the priority select in the editor.
- Pin a note to keep it above unpinned notes.
- Choose a background: Default, Rose, Peach, Sand, Mint, Sky or Lavender. Collaborators see the same colour.
- Add up to 100 checklist items.
- On phones, Move opens a destination sheet. Keyboard users can press Alt+Up/Down to reorder and Alt+Left/Right to change priority.
Reminders
- Set a reminder time in your local timezone. It arrives even with every page closed.
- Each person's reminder is their own and only notifies them.
- Archiving a note cancels its reminders.
- Enabled devices get a push notification. See Notifications.
Link to work or make a ticket
- Link a note to tickets and published updates you can access, for context.
- Links never give anyone access to the linked ticket or update.
- Create a project ticket copies the note text and checklist into a ticket in a project you choose. Praxis shows who will see it before you confirm.
Agent access
- By default an agent key has the same note access as its owner.
- Organization admins control this in Settings › Notes. They can turn off Notes for individual keys.
- Read-only keys cannot edit or comment.
- Keys can create private notes for their owner. They cannot change sharing, set reminders, archive or delete notes, or turn notes into tickets.
Note tools: create_note, list_notes, get_note, edit_note, comment_on_note, note_comments. See the tool reference.
