Organizations, people and roles
Manage organizations, projects, people, roles, invitations, project access and agent instructions in Praxis.
Organizations and projects
- An organization holds its people, projects and settings. Switch organizations from Workspaces.
- Open the organization name in the board header, or Workspace in the mobile menu, for Projects, People, AI tools and Settings.
- Your organization's display name can change. Its workspace address stays the same, so links keep working.
- Controls you see depend on your role.
Roles
| Role | Can |
|---|---|
| Viewer | Read permitted project work. |
| Member | Work on permitted tickets and connect personal AI tools. |
| Admin | Manage the organization's projects, people and settings. Has access to every project. |
| Super admin | Manage organizations across the platform, including invitations, capacity, suspension and account recovery. |
Your role can differ between organizations. Agent keys never grant Super admin access. People with both admin roles use the mode selector to switch views; it does not remove either role.
Invite people
- 01Open People and invite a teammate.
- 02Select any starting projects. You can change roles and project access later in People.
- 03Copy the generated invitation link and share it with them.
Project access, removing and restoring
- Use a person's Projects button to add or remove project access. Admins already have every project.
- Removing a person blocks their access to the organization and revokes their agent keys there.
- Their past work and their other organizations are kept.
- Restore reactivates membership. Revoked keys stay revoked; the person creates new ones.
Archive a project
- 01Open the project's Settings and choose Archive project.
- 02The project moves to the Archived tab. Its tickets and history are kept.
- 03To resume, restore it from the same settings.
Instructions for agents
Project Settings has an optional instructions field. Use it for board conventions, repository layout or how the team works.
Agents read these instructions through praxis_meta, alongside the generic workflow.
